The club was set up in September 2004 just for training sessions initially, but we soon grew in numbers and in September 2005 we were in the position of being able to enter 3 teams into the local Weetabix league, at U7, U8 and U9 age groups. In December 2005 we were awarded the Charter Standard award and are very proud of this fact. In September 2006 as the current teams move up an age group we will be adding another team at U7's and also a second team at U8's. Our current sponsor's are: U7 Astraseal U8 Astraseal U9 Dream Decor
We also have a deal going through at the moment with TNT UK to sponsor a team in September.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
